Water conservation is a key priority, with efforts such as rainwater harvesting, wastewater recycling and efficient usage across operations. By integrating eco-friendly processes and raising awareness, ARL strives to minimize its environmental footprint and contribute to a greener, more sustainable future.

Our Initiatives

Plantation

ARL undertakes regular tree plantation drives around its operational areas, using the Miyawaki technique. This method helps to rapidly increase green cover, improve air quality and support biodiversity. Employees, local communities and partners actively take part in these efforts. So far, the ARL team has planted over 10,000 trees, contributing to a healthier and more balanced ecosystem. Below are details of plantation drives undertaken by ARL.

• ARL planted over 2,000 trees in the Bagru Industrial Area as part of a large-scale plantation drive. This initiative utilized the Miyawaki Technique, a method known for reducing water requirements and accelerating plant growth, contributing to a greener and more sustainable environment
• ARL has sponsored over 3,000 trees in City Park Mansarover in collaboration with Jaipur Development Authority. The Miyawaki technique was followed in the plantation process. Our company undertook maintenance of these trees until they became self-sustainable.
• Over 1,500 trees were planted in the Bindayaka Industrial Area as part of a plantation drive. Members of the Rotary Club also participated in this initiative. The Miyawaki technique was adopted for this drive.
• ARL sponsored the plantation drive at Mahaveer College Jaipur and over 1,200 trees were planted there.
• Over 1,200 trees were planted in Dahami Kalan village in collaboration with local villagers. ARL sponsored the entire cost.
• Over 1,500 saplings planted in Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur
• Over 500 saplings planted in Northwest Railway Hospital Jaipur in collaboration with Rotary Club Jaipur Citizen
• Over 500 saplings planted in JDA Park in Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur. A local NGO and children of surrounding areas participated in the drive.

Renewable Energy Initiatives

As part of its commitment to clean energy and sustainability, ARL has installed solar energy systems at its factory premises to reduce dependency on conventional power sources and lower its carbon footprint. 

We have installed solar energy systems of 1 MW and 500 KW capacity in our Quartz slab and AC Sheet factories respectively.

Additionally, ARL sponsored and installed solar streetlights in Dahami Kala village for public utility while promoting the use of renewable energy in rural communities. These initiatives support ARL’s goal of promoting green energy and reducing environmental impact.

Water Harvesting

ARL places high importance on conserving water as part of its environmental responsibility. The company has implemented several initiatives such as rainwater harvesting, wastewater recycling, and efficient water usage systems across its facilities. These efforts help reduce dependence on groundwater and promote sustainable water management. The details of the initiative are as follows.

A total of 25 underground water reservoirs have been built at 3 factory locations which have capacity over 400 KLD to harvest rain water on the factory premises. The harvested water is utilized in the production process and for irrigation purposes, which reduces the need for ground water extraction. 

Water Recycling

ARL has installed Effluent Treatment Plants (ETPs) at its factories to treat and recycle used water generated during the production process. These systems ensure that wastewater is processed in an environmentally safe manner and reused wherever possible, significantly reducing freshwater consumption and environmental impact. This reflects ARL’s commitment to sustainable water management and responsible industrial operations.

Zero Waste Production

ARL has innovated and optimized its production processes with a strong focus on sustainability, achieving zero waste generation. By maximizing resource efficiency, recycling materials and minimizing environmental impact, the company ensures that every stage of production contributes to a cleaner and more responsible manufacturing system. This reflects ARL’s commitment to sustainable industrial practices.
